Bring your running or strutting shoes for the 27th Annual Whooping Crane event. The event will be located in Memorial Park in Rockport in a location best described as Nature's blend of woods and water. The 5K Run and the 10K Run will use the Tule Hike and Bike Trail. The 2Mile Walk will be inside Memorial Park.

$5 from every paid registration will be donated to the “Water for Wildlife Fund” managed by the Friends of Aransas and Matagorda Island NWR. Funds raised will be used to either help drill new wells or to rehabilitate old wells at the Aransas National Wildlife Refuge to provide more fresh water for the Whooping Cranes and other wildlife.

Packet Pickup: Friday, March 6, 2015 from 11am to 2pm at the Rockport Bay Education Center. The Bay Education Center is located at 121 Seabreeze, Rockport, Texas, 78382. If you are unable to attend Packet Pickup, Race day packet pickup is from 6:15am until 7:15am.
Shirt: Participants who register by Friday, February 28 will receive a shirt. Participants who register on Saturday, March 1 or later MAY receive a shirt but MAY NOT get their desired sized shirt. The availability or size selection of shirts for Packet Pickup registrants or Race Day registrants is NOT guaranteed. Please register now.
Timing: Pendgo Timing will time the 10K / 5K Run and 2Mile Walk using the most state of the art equipment. Pendgo Timing uses a disposable bib chip that is attached to your race bib. You will not be asked to stand in line the morning of the event waiting for someone to hand you a chip. You will also never be chased down after a race by someone trying to cut-off your chip. Pendgo Timing is a local company that hires local people who live and work in your community.
